Matthew Holmes was a young man trying to capture a career, when his life was tragically taken away. His family and friends sadly miss his strong character, his eagerness to help anyone in need, and the will he had to learn more about life. The qualities of Matthew’s personality have touched many people in a positive way.

In his memory, a scholarship fund has been established to provide assistance to deserving 8th grade students entering into a Catholic high school. The support of this scholarship will help the recipients pursue their goals through academic achievement as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.
